Mutair Nasab (Divisions)

As it is inferred in historical flashes that Mutair belongs to the famous old arabic tribe called Qatafan. Mutair nowadays is divided into three major parts:

 1-Elwa    2-Bni Abdellah     3-Buraih

Each one of these parts has its own independence but all become one when a matter related to their tribe arises.

Elwa is a very famous part in mutair. That is because many leading families belongs to elwa. For example, Al-Ddwshan (i.e. leaders of all Mutair) Al-Faghamah (leader of Oon Elwa) and Bin-Lami(leader of Al-Jiblan).

Elwa are usually called Ahl Alraddat. Elwa is divided into three clans:

1- Al-Muhah      2- Al-Jiblaan     3- Thoi Oon

Second major of Mutair is Bni Abdellah, the part which can be considered a tribe by it self. The people of this part are known by their strength and fighting ability. When counting their battles with other tribes you reach a conclusion of very strong and unbeaten people. Bni Abdellah has their own EZWAH (i.e. Awlad Abbad). When shouting this word gives a very long history full of sacrifices.

Bni Abdellah is divided into six big clans:

1- Al-Suaabah      2- Bni-Aziz          3-Al-Oonah

4- Al-Shalalihah    5- Al-Hwaimilat  6- Maimoon

The third major of Mutair is Buraih which is famous by its own heroes. One of the well known heroes is Tirahib bin Shari Bin Bsayyies. He is known as the hero of Arabia Peninsula that time.

Buraih is divide into three clans:

1- Wasil      2- Al-Suaraan   3- Al-Hamadeen
